Brief Introduction of China Hydraulics

Pneumatics and Seals Association

(CHPSA)

Administered by the SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) and registered at the Civil Administration Ministry as a national juridical association in 1990, CHPSA is a “Non-Profit Organization”formed voluntarily by Chinese production enterprises, research institutes and universities，local association which engaged in hydraulics、hydro-dynamic、pneumatics and seals products。

The aim of CHPSA

——Representing the common interests of the industry；

——Protecting the legal rights of its members；

——Carrying out self-discipline activities within the industry；

——Playing the role of bridge and link between the government and enterprises；

——Devoting to invigorating developing the hydraulics、hydro-dynamic、pneumatics and seals industry in china.

Main tasks of CHPSA

1.Assisting the government to work out the medium and long-term development plan of the hydraulics、hydro-dynamic、pneumatics and seals industry and putting forward the policy proposal；

2. Organizing the growth trend survey about the market and the technology，supplying the enterprises with the developing market service.

3.Cooperating with the related standardization commission to take part in the formulation and revision of national standards、 trade-related standards、 technique specifications as well as the publicity and implementation of related standards of ISO；

4.Organizing the industry to carry out tackling of common quality problems of the trade、assessing and recommending high-quality products and scientific and technical achievements in the trade；

5.Holding China International Power Transmission and Control Technology Exhibition(PTC ASIA)，organizing groups to visit international exhibitions and do the investigation，Developing international communication and cooperation；

6.Periodically issuing the statistics information both home and abroad 、 the economic and technical information，establishing and constantly improving “China Hydraulics、Pneumatics And Seals Industry Network”(www.chpsa.org.cn)，editing and publishing the

magazine of “ Hydraulics、Pneumatics & Seals”and other related information such as the“General View of China Hydraulics、Pneumatics & Seals Industry”and the “China Hydraulics、Pneumatics & Seals Industry Yearbook”；

   7.Providing domestic and foreign enterprises with services such as special technical consultation、market survey、asset appraisal and personnel training。

 The Organization of CHPSA

CHPSA has set up four specialized branches(Sub-Association for Hydrodynamics ，Sub-Association for Pneumatics，Sub-Association for Rubber Seals mechanical seals and Sub-Association for Mechanical Seals & Packing Seals)、two Committees (technical committee，information committee) and one non-standing body(Professor Committee)。The hydraulic specialty is set up at the secretariat of the headquarters of the association。
